Project Overview‍

Northbridge Railway Station forms a critical part of Perth’s expanding urban rail network, designed to improve connectivity and support the growing demand for efficient public transport across the Greater Perth region. Located within the city’s central rail corridor, the station plays an essential role in linking key metropolitan lines while supporting increased passenger capacity and reliable rail operations.

The project required robust cable solutions that met the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia’s (PTA) strict safety and performance standards to ensure long-term reliability, passenger safety, and uninterrupted rail operations.

Our Impact‍

Our brilliant team supplied specialised railway signalling cables, including flame-retardant, Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) Type 504M and 506M power and control cables engineered specifically for tunnel environments. These cables provide critical fire performance characteristics, helping to minimise smoke and toxic emissions while maintaining circuit integrity in the event of a fire.

In addition, we supplied reliable low-voltage cables to support power distribution within the Perth rail network. Together, these mission-critical cable solutions contribute to safer railway operations, improved system reliability, and increased transport capacity—supporting more efficient mobility across the Greater Perth region.
