Project Overview

Located approximately 30 kilometres south of Cebu City in San Fernando, the Taiheiyo Cement Philippines, Inc. (TCPI) plant is a major, state-of-the-art cement manufacturing facility and a subsidiary of Taiheiyo Cement Corporation — Japan’s largest cement producer with roots dating back to 1881.

Strategically positioned to supply the Visayas and Mindanao regions, the plant has an annual production capacity of 3 million tons and produces high-quality Portland and blended hydraulic cement under the GRAND and BUILDERS brands, offering products in bulk, 1.0-tonner bags, and 40/36-kg bags.

Operating heavy industrial equipment such as crushers, mills, kilns, and automated handling systems, the plant requires a highly reliable electrical and control network capable of withstanding heat, dust, vibration, and continuous operation. Durable and high-performance cable systems were essential to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted cement production.

Our Impact

We supplied shielded control cables (YSLCY or LIYCY) Class 5 and unshielded control cables (YSLY) Class 5 to ensure reliable signal transmission and stable equipment control across critical plant systems.

In addition, we delivered rubber cables (H07RN-F), commonly known as Royal Cord, selected for their flexibility, mechanical strength, and resilience in demanding industrial environments.

Our cable solutions contribute to the essential control, connectivity, and operational reliability of this large-scale cement manufacturing facility — supporting continuous production while reinforcing safety and performance across one of the region’s most significant industrial plants.
